Artist Statement
After finishing high school, I moved to Germany, seeking new experiences and broader horizons. This decision led me on a journey across Europe, where I immersed myself in various art scenes, absorbing diverse influences and techniques. This period of exploration greatly enriched my own perspective, allowing me to weave European artistic sensibilities with the visceral cultural expressions of my Mexican roots.
Currently, my focus on capturing the intense beauty of luchador matches. In my latest works, I go beyond mere physical depictions, exploring the emotional and cultural significance of this sport. Through the use of bold colors and dynamic compositions, I invite viewers to find beauty in the chaos and connect with the deeper narratives at play. My art not only celebrates the spectacle of luchadors but also pays homage to the enduring influence of Mexican culture in my creative journey.
